The Gullivers

Build a town, set up defences as some giants are heading your way. They call themselves Gulliver and seem to enjoy travel and smashing up the little people!

Protect you town center or it's all over. Retrieve resources of Wood, Stone, Food and Population in order to build the defences required to keep the Gullivers at bay.

WebGL

Please note, this game requires full screen to be playable (due to text sizing and tooltips). Please click the full screen button (bottom right) before playing via WebGL. Also due to performance and shadow flickering, shadows are disabled in the WebGL version but are available in the PC version.

Controls

WASD - Move around map

QE - Rotate Map (or hold Middle mouse button), use the Mouse Wheel to zoom in and out on the map.

Left Click - to place buildings (Yellow Hex = Valid Location, Red Hex Invalid Location)

Buildings

Town Center - Loose it and loose the game

Farm - Generates Food, 1 Food is required to build a House

House - Adds 1 Population, Population is required to build other structures

Lumber Yard - Generates wood

Stone Mine - Generates stone

Towers - Defence (Arrows, Catapults or Fireballs)

Fun!

Bite-sized sessions and clear accension mechanics with a good core loop.

Had a bit of an issue with the people/population resource staying at 0. It didn't prevent me from placing down tiles and generating resources.

I like the idea and think you could polish this further to make something very compelling.

Great job.

I really enjoyed this game; it was easy to figure out, but it got chaotic when there were like 3 or 4 giants. Well done on this one, keep up the great work.
